Honda CRV 2012 Super Bowl Ad Released

January 30, 2012

We are fans of “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” so we were excited when we saw the highly anticipated 2012 Honda CRV Super Bowl ad released today!

In the ad there is over 2 dozen references to the movie. Some are obvious and other are extremely subtle. Did you catch them all?

This year companies are paying an average of $3.5 million for a 30-second commercial, and more than $6 million for a 60-second commercial! That gives businesses even more motivation to captivate their audience and potential customers.

What are your thoughts on this commercial. Personally we loved it and thought it was so fun that we didn’t realize we were watching a commercial!

Wowsers! I rather enjoyed that because I mean, who doesn’t love Ferris Bueller?! Great references & yes, I didn’t feel like it was a commercial. I think Honda is very smart for adapting this kind of technique to their marketing. This will be the new standard instead of…”Buy my stuff! Buy my stuff! NOW!”. People want to be informed, entertained, & yes they great products.
