Can You Say Desperate?

It is no secret that advertisers use product placement on popular TV shows and movies to promote their business and products. However, some are more obvious than others. For example, look at this article we found from adage.com that highlights the awkward product placement McDonald’s used on the Oprah show. Did any of you see this episode? Was it as awkward as it sounds? Here’s a better question, did any of you fall for it? In any case, product placement happens and it is going to continue happening. We just hope that advertisers keep it more subtle and less desperate 🙂
