Fall Premieres, Success Predictions….

September 21, 2010

According to Media Life Magazine, “media people still expect CBS to win Monday nights with relative ease this season.

That’s in part because they believe “Hawaii Five-0,” CBS’s new 10 p.m. Monday drama, will be the new season’s biggest hit show, according to a poll about the new season posted last week by Media Life.

Nearly half, 48 percent, expect CBS to win on Monday nights among adults 18-49.”

We have to agree that Hawaii Five-O will likely be a hit. But my hunch is it will skew older, Adults 35-64. ABC’s Dancing with the Stars should be interesting with the new cast. Bristol Palin and The Situation… wow. Our friend Jenni Hogan predicts they’ll become an item. If that happens, I’m sure the ratings will skyrocket, because their relationship would be a train wreck waiting to happen! Imagine The Situation meeting the parents… but that’s a different conversation…

Mike and Molly seem to have quite a buzz… but who wouldn’t love a comedy about a couple who finds love at Overeaters anonymous?! And we LOVE Melissa McCarthy from ABC’s two season flop (sad that it flopped, we liked it!) Samantha Who! Mike and Molly will be a great program for advertisers looking to reach Women 25-54, and really, what advertisers doesn’t want to reach Women 25-54??

Can’t wait to see how the TV ratings shake out this week after all the fall premieres…

G2G, lots of TV to catch!

Check out Bristol’s dancing debut! She didn’t get as much criticism as we expected. She did a pretty good job… who are you voting for this season??

David Hasselhoff? We knew it. 😉

In Seattle, Mike and Molly was the #1 show last night beating out Castle, Dancing with the Stars, The Event, and other big premiere shows. Surprised? Our client, Denise, thought Mike and Molly was going to be a big hit, guess she was right on!
